Difficult to say. The young players we've brought in are unknown quantities. We may find we've unearthed some gems, or they may turn out to be duds.Rebuilding as well you know. We are stronger now.
Are you ?
You better hope we aren’t in for the same players then cos they’d all end up hereDifficult to say. The young players we've brought in are unknown quantities. We may find we've unearthed some gems, or they may turn out to be duds.
I'm confident we'll make at least 3 or 4 signings before the window closes though.
That's great that the older members of the board have experienced it then.Have respect for your elders then
1973/74 we were in Europe
Aye but you would have had someone to sit besideAt least some good came out of it in the end. We ended up with Steve Gibson as our Chairman and have experienced some amazing times since......winning a cup, two seasons in Europe and a European cup final.
Never would have experienced this had I been a Sunderland fan.
doesn’t matter they get bigger crowds than us.That's great that the older members of the board have experienced it then.
Just feel sorry for Sunderland fans who are around my age really, they've had so little to get excited about supporting their club.
A bit like when you wanted Cameron Archer last January ey?You better hope we aren’t in for the same players then cos they’d all end up here![]()
13000 on average last season bigger !doesn’t matter they get bigger crowds than us.![]()
That's true, and I wouldn't have had to pay for my ticket.Aye but you would have had someone to sit beside
We’ll take that Stewart off you and keep him fit archer back and raring to go. If we get two strikers in then we will do very well if not we will do fuck allYou better hope we aren’t in for the same players then cos they’d all end up here![]()
Couldn’t care less. Why would I? Our crowds are going up despite the fact Gibson is ripping us off. We have sold roughly 21,5k season cards which too me is decent considering very shite pricing structure.13000 on average last season bigger !
One of those seasons was the pandemic and the season was cut short early. Regardless, we've been in the league for a season and already have a better, more exciting squad than Boro.Yeah, you were literally the turd that wouldn't flush.
Of course there was a 4 year period recently where we didn't play each other. We were in the Championship. Can't remember where you were hiding.
In your opinion.....One of those seasons was the pandemic and the season was cut short early. Regardless, we've been in the league for a season and already have a better, more exciting squad than Boro.
Haway who’s the bigger attraction ?A bit like when you wanted Cameron Archer last January ey?![]()
I was almost agreeing with you until you mentioned cool fans with a great dress sense.Haway who’s the bigger attraction ?
You with your gas masks, smoking chimneys, Berwick Hills, crappy small ground, a fly over as your focal point, shitty Newport Bridge dull as feck fans with no dress sense etc
Or Us
Clean air, Roker and Seaburn beaches, Durham, Fantastic stadium, history, Penshaw Monument as our focal point, Wearmouth and Alexandra bridges and cool as feck fans with a great dress sense.
HAWAY !
The ref "made the error", you mean?Keeper from QPR who scored against us when Patterson made the error
Has Channel 4 arrived on Teesside yet?I was almost agreeing with you until you mentioned cool fans with a great dress sense.
Agreed. I'm sure they would have rather been a newcastle or boro fan. That's great that the older members of the board have experienced it then.
Just feel sorry for Sunderland fans who are around my age really, they've had so little to get excited about supporting their club.
Making me itch all the extra chemicalsf***ing hell, what do you call a group of Boro fans on a Sunderland board?
An infestation.
