Auto correct, point still stands. A lot of arrogance on here regarding other clubs. A lot of crowd bashing towards us yet you’ve never ever filled your ground over the course of the season. Over ambitious move imo, think you should try and get it back to 42,000

No chip on me shoulder think your crowds are impressive and your big club that’s the truth of the matter. Still comfortably behind your rivals and that’s the reason you like to have a pop at us

Just looked at 2018 /2019 and you have loads crowds around 20000 -your ground holds 34
Way too big for you if you go by your logic ?

We filled it in the 2nd tier under Robson. The capacity at the time was 30,000 the following season the capacity was increased to 34,700 and we filled it for two seasons. Crowds then dipped up and down a baseline premier league average for us is 30,000. Yours is 40,000 and barcodes 50,000 there is a sizeable gap between all three of us, you lot think it’s you and them and we’re some nothing club down the ladder. Facts say your fanbase size is closer to ours than there’s. Plus we don’t have league titles and fa cups which would obviously boost our average

07/08 - 43,300 average
14/15 - 43,100 average
15/16 - 43,000 average

All above 42k. If you're going to try and have a pop at least check your facts first eh.

In the championship aye. The capacity is now back to 32,800 due to the telly being put in the corner about right for us. Never ever claimed it hasn’t been too big for us over the years. Think we will pretty much fill it next season.

All very impressive gates. Never said Sunderland don’t have good fans, I’ve said factually you’ve never ever filled it. 43,000 isn’t filling it is it. Now look ours and you’ll see for a few season we filled it and averaged 32,000 a few times.
