Forthcoming gigs.

TV Personalities playing at Pop Recs in September. Obviously not featuring Dan Treacy, who is not a well man at all, but still its quite amazing that they are playing up here. I think this may be the only TVP date.

Absolute stonker of an announcement, that! Wonder who will be involved? Jowe Head seems a good bet.

Jowe Head and Dave Musker. I remember going up to Newcastle in about 1982 to see TVP only to find it was cancelled. 40 years later I can see them. Admittedly, it's not Dan Treacy but nonetheless it's not to be missed. Yet again Pop RECs plays a blinder.

Pulp were tremendous again tonight at Sheffield Arena. That's twice in a week for me now, really hope this tour isn't their last, but if it is, what an encore its been.

Reverend and the makers amazing.

Gutted i didnt get ti speak to harriet rose who was exceptional but worst of all i met @WD40 who turned out not to be @Longy despite deeing a cracking impression
Harriet Rose has done some support slots for The Sherlocks and Lottery Winners of late. She probably mentioned it last night but she is related to one of Reverend and the Makers (John?).

I am not longy
That's exactly what longy would say

Don't remember her mentioning it but i was stood next to her, didn't want to talk over an acoustic set but really wanted to tell her how great she was, but by the time it ended she fucked off.

I'm sure plenty of people told her she was great though, was really impressed like.
I was down the front left
Ah see all the best people where front right by the steps. You missed out.

That’s where a few of my mates were. I’m definitely a left winger in Pop Recs like. Get a nice little pocket down there usually.

Head’s banging now like.

She was aye.

Honestly the left wing is my usual station, usually hoy me jacket tucked behind the corner monitor at the front but I just had a waterproof that fit in me pocket last night

Was in the Butchers Arms before a ‘77 gig.

Haven’t got tickets, but half a chance I might do the Who on Wednesday. After that a bit of a gap. A Brit Pack & Clashed pub gigs pencilled in. Then the next thing I’ve got tickets for is PiL at the Fire Station.
The Clashed are shite, save ya money
