Leeds away £47

I'd like to see SAFC refuse any tickets from them. Would we as supporters accept that? I would but then I'm not a regular away goer nowadays. It's the only way clubs will learn tho.

It won't bother leeds in the slightest the way the away end is situated at leeds any away tickets unsold they simply sell to their own fans

Wow.
This type of acceptance of blatant piss taking is the exact reason that blatant piss takers get away with it.

Wake Man U fool.

47 quid to watch a second tier game midweek is an absolute disgrace.

U seem like the type of bloke who thinks freddos are value for money at 70p and space raiders are worth 60p aswell.
Mug.
But does he go to away games? Does he realise the on costs of travel and food are essentials and need to be added to the price of a ticket. That will take it to £100 for most people and exiles wil probably need to factor in train accommodation.

Does that make it ok? A poor season for them may make away supporters' cash more important.

No it doesn't make it ok but I think they know their fan base is so big they can get away with charging these prices

Supply and demand. If people will pay it then clubs will charge it. The easy option is to just say no I’ve had enough and refuse to pay. The reality is games away to Leeds and Sheff Wed who have equally ridiculous prices will sell out.

This is always a really tricky one. I hate this kind of pricing and something definitely needs to be done about it. I'd support a boycott. That being said, I personally don't think we've really got that level of togetherness amongst fans in this country, far too many would want to go just because they always do, or because it's a fairly close away game so they save on travel to compensate for the ticket cost etc. You look at how organised fans are in Germany, there's a much bigger reaction to stuff like this. On other issues as well, just look at how the Bayern fans protested about sponsorship from Qatar Airways compared to the reaction of our "friends" up the road regarding Saudi Arabia.

Although I don't personally think any protest would get enough traction to succeed, it's definitely one I'll bring up with RAWA and see if they can speak with the other supporters groups and agree a joint approach. We can also bring it up with the club (I know the club can't affect it directly, but they can add their voice to any calls for a similar price cap to the one in the PL). Ultimately Leeds, and others, are taking the piss out of supporters of all clubs in the league and so fans groups have to have a voice about it. I know some at RAWA are also involved with the FSA so I'll ask if they are looking to comment on it as well, since they can speak with all the other supporters groups in the league. Will definitely raise it, fans in this country deserve better

Fair play to you mate I really hope that it gets off the ground.

Sheff wed away is at the end of September, I really hope something can be organised before then. I guess tickets will come out about the first week of September so less than two months away.

Leeds away us April next year so plenty time

I'd absolutely love to see sunderland at the head of this movement... For us to be the first ones to bring it up and follow through with it, I honestly think that it would be a domino effect and others would fall in line straight away. It would be such a positive, progressive shift in attitude and power in football in this country... Not saying it would change everything over night, but if fans groups could achieve this which is a pretty big ask, then it would open up the door to achieving other things... Such as stopping late kick off time changes for TV or having away games midweek 300 miles away ..

It would be a very bold move from RAWA to bring it up, but I hope you do.

These were my 'must not miss' games. I'm not going to either now. I'm a concession on a decent pension and enjoy travelling to away games in my retirement but Twenty's Plenty should be the maxim everywhere.

Me too. They we're on my list of 100% attending, especially sheff wed away on a Saturday 3pm....doesn't get much better than that for an away game, close to home, great city, grand old stadium, good chance of 3 points etc... But fuck it. Absolutely no chance am I going.

In fact I'd happily travel down and protest outside the ground. But I reckon half of our support would tell me to fuck off. Sad times

It can’t just be us though mate. All clubs need to do it or it’s just pointless.

With our away support the way it is it would be a massive gesture tho. There wouldn't be a bigger one outside of the top flight. Bollocks to what other clubs/fans do.

Tbf Sheff Wed, Boro, Huddersfield and Hull would also take big allocations to Leeds.

If fans groups could join together then we could shame the twats and it would get national attention.

I’m all for us taking taking the lead though.
