Changes for 4th Test at Old Trafford

Foakes wont play. Jimmy or Tongue for Robinson will be the only change imo. They have went this far with Bairstow and Foakes has had no cricket and wasn’t in the best of form himself. I would make the change still but they won’t I don’t think
Yeah possibly, you could be right however concerned that Bairstow not fully fit to keep imo and most worrying of all his confidence seems to have gone keeping as well.

His keeping this series been really poor too poor for him that I can only put down to fitness.

But would not disagree that it probably won’t happen

Bairstow has arguably cost us two Tests and very nearly cost us the third. Too much of a liability going into two must win games. He's failed at both his jobs.

He's just had a kid as well, which is obviously going to be a big lifestyle change and I do wonder if that's affecting him a bit. Never had him down as a parental figure really, seems to enjoy being one of the lads too much

Foakes is averaging almost 44 in the CC this season mind but I agree they won’t pick him.

Tongue for Robinson should be a given.

This is probably the most consistent I’ve seen Moeen bowl for England I think  He’s usually got a half tracker or two in every over but he’s bowled very well this series. His batting has been atrocious though mind.

We have to address the elephant in the room which is who bats at 3 given that it isn't Brook and it isn't Ali,

Elsewhere, Robinson out and someone in (presumably Anderson).

So he's Jack Leach in disguise
