It's better than all of the prem, if we get a sniff of success I'd put any club on Earth against us for organic support, we compete and beat the clubs that rely on Asia, Surrey etc support. Imagine if we were fashionable enough to get the casuals.

STID helped but our support is superb.. it’s easy to say “best fans in the country “ but given our meagre success our fanbase is world class.

And our fans passion for the club.

In my view - we are world class.

Not for an East Stand vet such as I. Started in the Main Stand Paddock as a bairn, tried the Roker, made the Fulwell my home....then the SoL West Stand before settling on the lure of the East.
In between spent an awful long time sitting on my hands in press boxes.

Same journey as me around the stands from 1958.
Although I still prefer the West Stand

We are in the north east corner so not directly in the main chucking/danger zone although do get peppered with missiles every now and then. Luton game bloke up from Nottingham area got a cut head and shower of beer from the Luton tossers still waiting on feedback
