There’ll be a few more pop up no doubt. Few who I wouldn’t mind adding in, Pastel, Afflecks Palace, maybe Alabama 3

Seeing them in Darlo in August. Glad to have such a positive recommendation as I was worried I'd wasted my money.
I’ve seen them about 15 times, every gig has been a cracker
Four of us are off to see Siouxsie at Tynemouth Priory on Friday. The Banshees were one of my favourites back in the day and were fantastic live.

Looking forward to it but have seen some You Tube clips of decidedly dodgy Siouxsie vocals at recent gigs. Fingers crossed that she's a bit better than Debbie Harry at Glastonbury. It's beyond me how that performance got rave reviews in the press. Methinks a definite case of heart ruling the ears...
I decided against buying tickets after watching some videos of her comeback shows; she wasn’t that far off Debbie Harry

Only seen James 3/4 times, but they’ve been top notch everytime like. They’re just one of these bands that you can always count on. Didn’t bother with the orchestral one like, canny expensive tickets.

The Who are shite live, like. I saw them about 10 years ago at Wembley Stadium because I won two free tickets through Sky. There were hundreds of people around us who had also won their tickets, but I was talking to someone on the way in who'd paid £80 then so god knows what they think they can charge in 2023.

Kaiser Chiefs supported them and they were much better!

For those going to Paul Heaton at Tynemouth.

He was great today at TRNSMT, like.

Today I've seen Dead Pony, Slix, Duncan Welsh & the Decadent West, The Joy Hotel, High Vis, Joesef, Hamish Hawk, SIIGHTS, The View, Hot Milk, Cloth, The Big Moon, Paul Heaton, Niall Horan, George Ezra and Pulp.

How’d you get through so many bands? You’ve named 17 there. Even taking out pissing, going to the bar, moving between stages you’ve got about 2 days worth of sets there.

I've done 17 in a day before like, it's certainly possible.

Full sets? Even if they were 30min sets, some earlier might have been, but the later ones will be nearer 90mins, you’re talking 8 1/2 hours. Without all the other stuff that I mentioned.
Depends how good they are. I've never paid attention at a proper festival but i remember keeping track once at long division and it was between half+mostly full sets with the odd clash where I'll catch half of each or occasionally sometime they're only average so I'd catch a track or two then go get bait.

Iirc long division is around 12 hours, i might even have seen more at some camping festivals

Cracking venue The Piece Hall @Stray Cat loads of bars and bogs. Get there early to get a seat on the steps in the sun and enjoy the support ;)

Hourglass in town will fit the bill for prosecco cocktails and poncy IPAs
Great. On the train to leeds now. I think I’m gonna get wet though as it’s forecast storms 🙄
