Forthcoming gigs.

Four of us are off to see Siouxsie at Tynemouth Priory on Friday. The Banshees were one of my favourites back in the day and were fantastic live.

Looking forward to it but have seen some You Tube clips of decidedly dodgy Siouxsie vocals at recent gigs. Fingers crossed that she's a bit better than Debbie Harry at Glastonbury. It's beyond me how that performance got rave reviews in the press. Methinks a definite case of heart ruling the ears...
I thought she sounded canny myself.

Sure Siouxsie will sound different when you’re there to videos & stuff too.

Was at Scarborough for Paul Heaton on Saturday, as usual really good gig, there was a replacement for Jaqcui too, she was very good.
Love the venue but the beer is shite inside
Off to see Pulp there on Sunday , never been to the venue , what’s the crack with the beer ?

The ‘lager’ they sell is like a craft ipa, some people will like it, but it’s not for me.
They do sell other stuff mind.

Packet of white wine in my kegs for me next time I go in there

Blur at Wembley Sunday supported by Paul Weller.

Only picked the tickets up on viagogo at the weekend. 120 for 4 tickets even if it is up in the gods
Cancelled a festival date in France on Thursday due to injury

Royal blood stepping in for them! How disappointing would that be, you think you're going to see blur and instead its royal blood!

Reminds me of when the darkness headlined instead of Bowie at T in the park years ago

Ah amazing! Enjoy! Wish Weller was there on the Saturday, I've never heard of any of the supports acts (must be getting old!)

Me too :). It's a canny venue if the weather is good (we were there for Blondie a few weeks ago). Forecast is decent so far. 🤞

That's a great price. We are there on the Saturday (assuming it goes ahead )
