Bit concerning if people run a brewery then a few years later they've set up a new one. I'm sure there could be reasons other than wanting to escape a shit reputation or going bust.

I want them to do well since their brewery is just round the corner, find it a bit odd have a micropub so far from their brewery mind, probably low rent compared to roker/seaburn

I had a look in last week while they were finishing the renovations. I'd say seats around 30 at a rough guess. Maybe a bit bigger than Church Lane if you know that?

I give it a year. The beers are shite. If the products no good it's not going to last - just like their last venture. Only hope it has is if it gets some decent guest beers in.

Cleo's is hilarious. Good for people watching/shit kareoke. They made me an espresso martini with instant nescafé. Lass behind bar wanted to try her new recipe out. Great fun had by all.

Had a party at Port of Call yesterday and looking across this place was rammed when we went in to set up on the afternoon and on the night as well.

They have some of their stuff on in Harbour View and it's not the best. Hopefully they get better at it and do well. Good to see someone giving it a go in the town. Remember the Vaux stuff wasn't the best but got some really nice beers going now. Hope people stick with them.
