Players values are generally to do with perceived ability and potential right?

That'll be why Buendia went for more, the same as Alex Scott will I assume.

I bet Pirlo's stats aren't that impressive. Rarely scored; probably fewer assists than an average winger; hardly tackled or won a header. Just controlled the game and let the game revolve around him.

...but all of the world would have watched and known Pirlo, majority of the country won't know or watched Alex Scott.
 
Burnley can bid what they like and a realistic bid might even get accepted but for me I wouldn’t be entertaining anything below 15 million minimum.
That said Clarke doesn’t have to accept.

He’s had a big move that didn’t work out.
He’s from up north and seems to love it here.
He’s playing in a team that suits him and is young and attacking.

I don’t think he’ll be in any hurry to leave us.

Hopefully rumours of a new deal are true.
 
Burnley have bid £7m + add ons up to £10m. Rejected. Then £10m in instalements. Rejected. Then £11m. Not yet rejected but will be. Then counting the coppers in the piggy bank, looking down the back of the sofa's and under the chairs in the club house to see if they can find an extra £9m.

Most of the knackers who gave him abuse were probably just daft young un's but you have to remember you get pulled up on here for anything. I try to talk to any poster the same way I'd speak to them in real life/in a pub etc. If someone finished their sentence talking to you in a pub with giving personal abuse, you're probably going to want to fight back.

Let's all be respectful to each other, no matter what we think. Disagree by all means. I'm just saying personal abuse probably wrong, and I've probably done it a couple of times myself, so I'm not preaching

11 million man, as if we’d accept that, proper time wasters. It’s like someone offering you a thousand for Mayfair and parklane when you’re playing monopoly.
