Aye fair point. Back in his heyday Rod used to go out to bat with only his feather cut Barnet for protection along with a skinny size 6 bat, a pair of those green spikey batting gloves and a packet of 20 Embassy Regal in his trousers acting as a thigh pad.

The competition he was facing bowled a million miles an hour anarl and the reading wasn't taken until it came back out of the wicket keeper gloves

Id like to see george ezra face Ambrose, Walsh or thommo.
