People talk within the game! I think that Sunderland now has a good reputation for finding and developing young players and that has become a significant factor on us attracting these types of players.....Obviously some will be dazzled by big money options at chelsea man city and the like and many take the carrot but end up scraping around for a birth in the championship once they have been replaced by the next in the production line.
How quickly things change though, only a couple of years ago we were a laughing stock within the game with those two penny pinching clowns as owners .

And only 6 years ago we were a bloated, unsightly, costly mess constantly in danger of being relegated from rhe premier league and imploding.
 
Aren't celtic getting a new striker from the aussie league?. Might put them out of the running.

Unfortunately I think this whole story linking him to us is complete bullshite tbh
