Anderson finished?

Explain his success in the sub continent then?
Good point.
I was mainly thinking of down under, although were those sub continent pitches that dead?
I’m not on a downer on him here certainly in England he’s got a shout on our greatest seamer ever.
I’m just frustrated that they didn’t play Wood even on that easy pitch I think he could have made life uncomfortable for them at certain points and added a bit of variety to the attack.

Yeah they were dead

He’s easily our greatest ever seamer

Without wanting to be premature and say he's done for, I don't see any value in really picking him after this series...

He hasn't changed a bit and we get this type of comment every time he has one poor match which is hardly ever. He's just bowling on a road and had one sub par game. It might be he chooses to pack it in after this series but his record in the last 2 years is the best of his entire career.

Because of one bad game

No, because he's approaching 41 and arguably doesn't form part of our best attack in the conditions we want to play in (Flat pitches)

He's going to bowl on a road quite regularly if we continue to ask for these pitches.

Fair point, think I am perhaps being unfair on the basis that our attack seems a bit samey and I think Broad and Robinson offer more at the moment.
I think Broad has just had an excellent match and Jimmy below par. If this series is a struggle for Jimmy he would probably make that call himself but i wouldn't back against his having a good match next time around whatever the conditions.
