If Bostock is going to be there can someone ask him if he's ready to pull his head out of the ECB's arse now that he didn't get the ECB chairman job and concentrate on fighting for Durham?

Yes,he's got our £3m loan from ECB written off,has received funding for the new hotel complex from them,and gained an increase in international match allocation. If he had to perform 69ers with ECB officials to achieve this all credit to him. Over and beyond the line duty that.🙄

It is when some members will be away supporting the team that day. We'll get it right one day
They could of course just host it on one of the days of the Gloucestershire home game but that would be too sensible I guess.

Obviously that makes it far far worse but even just having it on a non playing day is daft, coming all the way to cls just for it is a non starter

Probably know you'll be at the Leics game so in your absence will announce that the Co Durham Upper is to be converted into two luxury apartments provisionally titled The Franklin Flats.:D:eek:
 
obviously nothing submitted ofically yet then, as there's no new plans on the council website for hotel or stand, but be nice to see some updated plans as last ones were 2008ish

Even if we were to build a hotel how are we going to fill it?

Unless I'm mistaken we are still only getting one international game a year for the foreseeable future. Combining that with a couple of music concerts and we are talking 3 times a year when it is likely to be busy. I can't see that attracting a hotel firm to run it

Lancashire ones are busy all of the year, they'll be doing conferences and events etc
