T20 :: Durham v Derbyshire

De leede hasn't shown much in the 20s with ball but has shown more than enough in red ball cricket to see why they are really persevering with him
But Parnell as an overseas isn't good enough now, likes of bedingham and Borthwick should be in ahead of him

We only scored 17 off the last 15 balls that the last 3 at home scored barely a run a ball last couple of overs.

At a time where your ideally looking for 2 a ball

He wants dumped asap.

You’re talking shite. Our problem is the injuries to our bowlers - in an ideal scenario he bowls a couple of overs in the middle of an innings, but because of our depleted bowling corps he’s being asked to bowl in the powerplay and at the death.
Bowling to a leg field though, they had four on the rope leg side. That was the ball they wanted to bowl, just got a bit too much bat on it.

I think the idea was to bowl full and straight, not three stumps down leg-side.

Interested to know what the first timers and non regulars thought and looks like they enjoyed it judged on a non representative sample of a couple of comments 😀

Think that’s the first time I’ve seen a tie so at least it was exciting up to the last ball.

Re the tannoys, I got a couple of loud environment warnings on my Apple Watch 😬

ah man! I really enjoyed that after the ashes, I understand all the debates...

but a really poor last ball right?

never mind, I hope the crowd enjoyed it.
The lager was £5.80 but to be honest it was nice, I don’t mind paying more, if it’s decent, probably the best pint I’ve had at a sporting event for a long time

Mate I switched to Guiness late on from opposite sticky wicket, they proper let it rest, was beautiful actually.
Really enjoyed tonight with the bairn. After the match the players came out with photos and a pen for autographs and I couldn’t help but think that is how football should be. Bairn loved and we’re coming back next Friday. 😃

Class, glad you enjoyed, exactly what Durham need this mate.

My first ever 20/20 , really enjoyed it. 8 of us on the £1 tickets but must have spent a good £200 on bber, pop, and burgers, chips, bags of sweets for the bairn, parking etc.. .

Good game, very engaging. Nice chants of 'haway the lads' , guess that's not normal?

Only gripe for me is the f***ing tannoy and the blasting of music every over and every boundary. Absolutely no need. Shut the fuck up, it's English summer time cricket.. not a kids party

Yeah the music and lack of commentary pisses me off too. It was especially loud tonight as well

Never park in the car park at the ground nightmare to get out after T20’s, easier and quicker to park in the town ( free after 2pm) .
Don’t tell everyone, I got the last space in the car park I use 😉

The neck oil IPA is a nice pint. As I only have one due to driving I don’t mind splashing out 👍

Well a tie makes a change. Probably had just about enough on the board to scrape a win, but too many bowling errors made to secure a victory. Was sat behind the dugouts and Coggers came straight off, after finishing his bowling stint, limping and holding his left side. Went straight off to the dressing room with the physio. Didn't look too good but hopefully it just turns out to be something minor. Of course he might just have been on a promise and was being discreet about it.
