Both of those clubs would have been a downgrade for him. He made over 20 appearances last season, if he went to either of them he is back in the u21s.
 
Not even a week has gone by since the Pink concert and already the wheels are straight into full motion at the SOL re transfers and getting a squad together that is just that bit stronger than we were last season. It was just over a week ago when all thoughts were about readying the Stadium for a music show and getting people in and spending who never normally go inside of a football stadium unless it is a concert. A lot of the fans on Saturday probably know little to nothing about football. Especially Sunderland. But they were there to see their idol. All thoughts about the team were on the back burner. Now look at us. Already we have signed a terrific talent who will take us far.

I must say Krill and Christian have been absolutely amazing for us.

Speakman did say he wanted the majority of our business done early.
 
Time is on our side, where it is good to see the club building the squad around young up and coming talent where we will be ready for the PL.
 
Birmingham City must be one of the biggest set of deluded goons going.

Their fans genuinely think they're a bigger club and a better place for him to develop?

I'm 30 odd and they've always been poorly supported, constant crisis and a complete waste of time.

I’m 40 odd and didn’t even realize they had a football team until we played them in a semi final :lol:
