Women’s Ashes 2023

Should probs have delayed the women’s one a year so it got more attention from cricket fans.

In what way? The ticket sales are record breaking
I fear they'll get well beaten again. Australia are a different class currently

Probably. But the gap is definitely closing

The test in the 2022 ashes series was the best game of the entire men’s & women’s series. If it’s a similar game but with the extra day this time it’ll be a classic.

White ball I think they still murder us

Men have SL and WI at home next year, both of which could be shite. A women’s Ashes test would get more attention then than shoved between the men’s stuff

It’s not “shoved between” at all. It’s a cracking schedule. Record breaking ticket sales suggest it’s popular too.

Don’t understand why any England/Australian cricket fan would be against it. Relentless cricket. Hoping it’s the same for the 25/26 Ashes rather than playing the women’s afterwards

Tash Farrant, England's left-arm seamer, is to undergo surgery after suffering a recurrence of the lumbar spine stress fracture that ruled her out of the entire 2022 season

not nice to hear but not sure she would have made the squads anyway given she hadnt long returned from injury to start with
