Maybes they would have? I think he's just limiting his appeal, and putting people off with this whole Geordie wank fest. I don't mind introducing a little football into music, the sax player with his top on, Oasis with some Man City badges etc, but that last night was far far far too much...imagine coming from outside of Newcastle and having to sit through that, and I don't think its just a Mackem thing either given the reaction from twitter (I know I know, its not really comparable to real life)
