Likewise. First thing I look on in the morning, mainly for news and politics

Some very knowledgeable and witty posters on here.

Plus, no question ever goes unanswered
 
Certainly filled in some hours for me of late. And there's some really helpful types.

Like others have said, there's always something new to read and some really knowledagble people.

I really wouldn't have a clue about politics or the Ukraine war etc without it
 
Went on the Pompey one a few years ago (as recommended on here) for a bit of a nose and it was sterile as shite. Has about 10 threads plus matchday ones for specific matches. If you started a thread about say Luton winning the championship it would be hoyed into an already existing thread titled other clubs or summat within a few minutes and get lost.

It’s elitist.
If you go and against the flow you get absolutely humiliated.
The moderation team turn a blind eye towards shocking abuse but punish when they feel fit.
The moderation team don’t tell you what you’ve done wrong.
Emotions get overtaken.

HOWEVER.
In the SMB the amount of good people who will help you is absolutely outstanding. Some superb posts and offers for help.

It’s a very good forum but defiantly not the best.
