Then we'll never progress.Yes we will, this is a total myth. The owners have been clear as day from the day they walked in the building. The club will be run in a sustainable way. Buying young, cheaper players will lots of potential, developing them, selling the odd one or 2 for profit and reinvesting that in more talented youngsters. Over a few years we have a much better squad, whilst still being in a sound financial state. We WILL NOT, and rightly so in my opinion, break our wage structure for players otherwise the whole model is fucked. As soon as you break it for 1 player, others will expect the same.
I'm a big fan of the way the club is being run right now and hope it continues. If Clarke goes, I'll be gutted, but will trust the club to reinvest wisely.

There seems to be a "Clash" of interests.Clarke will either stay, or he will go. That's what I'm hearing.
Their wage structure changed when they moved to the Prem yes, but not whilst they were in the Championship. I expect us to do the same. Then we'll never progress.
Do you think the much vaunted Brentford and Brighton are still paying league one or championship wages?
Of course not, their wage structure changed, for us to progress ours will have to as well.
agents man. f***ing BankrobbersThere seems to be a "Clash" of interests.
He didn't say that at all he said we will try to do our business earlyAye,thing is mate I wish KS hadnt come out and said we are gonna get our business done early.Think thats were the paranoia is creeping in for some on here.
.. Splitting fanny hairs there mind ..He didn't say that at all he said we will try to do our business early
We've already progressed exponentially and I haven't seen any signs that that has halted as yet.If we don't break our wage structure we'll never progress, it's as simple as that.
These agents just want Complete Control, yeah thats a laugh. In an ideal world they want their players to Stay Free and get maximum Career Opportunities. I hope they go Straight To Hell. But if Londons Calling for Jack then it might be hard to keep him.agents man. f***ing Bankrobbers
No it isn't not at all... Splitting fanny hairs there mind ..
he has tried it once and it wasnt goodThese agents just want Complete Control, yeah thats a laugh. In an ideal world they want their players to Stay Free and get maximum Career Opportunities. I hope they go Straight To Hell. But if Londons Calling for Jack then it might be hard to keep him.
They’re quite different things tbf.. Splitting fanny hairs there mind ..
He’ll be wondering, “should I stay or should I go?”These agents just want Complete Control, yeah thats a laugh. As we go up a League I believe the players we want for the next season will be offered better contracts and the fees for players sold will go towards future targets. When does it end though? Do we just accept bids every window if we aren't promoted? If so it's going to make getting promoted a hell of a lot harder if you flog your best players each window. You would essentially need to recruit replacements and hope we get promoted with them in their first season or just lose them because we aren't promoted that same season.
We are relatively debt free, The 'model' will soon wear off if we a) aren't getting promoted and/or b) a percentage of the money is 'reinvested' but not the full whack (which is hard to identify)
I agree nobody is bigger than the club, but it also shouldn't be used as a cash cow to line owners pockets if they are looking for a return on investment, the best way to do that is be in the PL.
You put it so much better than me.Yes we will, this is a total myth. The owners have been clear as day from the day they walked in the building. The club will be run in a sustainable way. Least we are on the same page mateAs we go up a League I believe the players we want for the next season will be offered better contracts and the fees for players sold will go towards future targets.
The season ticket sales must be a bit of a shock to the owners. They must now realise the potential this club has. The plan I believe was to push for promotion this season. Last season was a bonus. It's now a balancing act of selling the likes of Clarke against possibly losing out this season on promotion.
Ive still got a lot of confidence in Speakman doing the necessary and the board getting us back into the Premier.
You put it so much better than me.
So do I.Least we are on the same page mateI love the way the club is being run at present.
Won't let me see what he's tweeted, maybe since I don't have an account. Does he suggest how much? You must be logged on to see external links
