Seen someone on twitter suggesting the extra seamer and use Root.

Other options are Ahmed, Jacks or Livingstone (don’t agree with any really) or go back to Ali / Rashid

It’ll be seamer in my view

Ali is not a bad shout actually if they pleaded with him? But he can’t bowl 30 overs a day

Leach was literally just about our most important player due to stokes injury

Re Livingstone he was clearly thought of as an all rounder when selected for the Pakistan series only for injury to prevent him appearing

be very interesting to see if they go back to that option

If stokes was fit they would but they can’t at the minute, whoever comes in need to be relied upon to bowl a lot
 
Not great, even before Ashes start and losing key spinner.

Not easy to replace, with like for like.

The Stokes fitness issue is huge, already was but this makes it bigger.

Wood - can’t play 5 games
Robinson - question marks over his recent fitness
Stokes - goosed
Tongue - 1 test against Ireland

All this Crawley foakes talk is utter nonsense they average nearly the same , the bowling will decide the test, the pitches are gonna be flat flat flat

I’m propped gutted for leach like, top bloke and he was coming good

He’s bowled so much last year probs caused his injury

Aye he's getting rehab they might just go for woakes or jack's although not ideal

Bess takes wickets and has the best batting technique in recognised spinners

if only people could see it
