Bid rejected for Clarke

£15- 20 million would represent good business for us imo.

I like Clarke, he's super young, and I think he'll go on to have a good career (and his value would continue to grow). But that's a price that I'd be happy to see him go and the money re-invested in the squad.

It only works if the price is super inflated. £20m plus

Already playing at a higher level than rangers, be career suicide to go to Scotland when multiple premier league sides are after him.

Rangers linked
 Rangers ffs

Considering Lewis-Potter went for 19m anything less than 25m for Clarke is awful

Lewis-Potter is the same position/type of player, but older and not as good (including statistically).

I agree. The club seems to be much more professional in football and financial matters these days so I would expect them to extract the true worth on any sale. Having said that, I think they see Clarke as key to next year's push so I don't think they would be looking to sell unless a really silly offer comes in.
Well said mate. Clarke came here to play football and that's what he has done and clearly enjoys been here. 1st name on the team sheet (mine at least) with a manager who really believes in him. Why would he risk going back to sitting on a bench or playing when things aren't going well and been abused by the crowd. Get promoted with your team mates who think the world of you and attack the big league all as one and as a team.
