T20 :: Durham v Lancashire

It was an excellent all round performance and everyone (incl Bushnell as sub) contributed brilliantly. The result was never in doubt after the power play in Lancs innings. We are getting quite good at this, aren’t we 😁

Well it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening last night and a great result and performance. Loads of SAFC tops, caps and tattoos on show with not a mag to be seen. Lovely!

the only time I remember the trapdoor stand being open during last year's T20 was for the Uni student party

Don’t know if anyone noticed, but the section of the trapdoor to the right of the Durham School banner (as you look from the DRP) had netting over a few rows of seats at the front, back and sides. The part to the left didn’t. I wonder if that’s where the students are going? The netting was the sort used in football grounds for segregation.

All v mysterious.

Or was it to keep the trapdoor regulars out? 😁

The netting is stop the students getting too near the back or front for the student event on Tuesday

Hopefully they behave. Remember 2021 when it was chaos? Hope to see good behaviour all round ;)
score predictions? I’m thinking Durham batting first and racking up maybe 180/6 following on from Fridays victory. Just need tight bowling and consistent batting with no silly lifting or scooper shots. Don’t give too many wides either lads ;)

It opened for the third T20 home game against Warwickshire which was the student game and stayed open for the remaining four fixtures.

Is the correct answer.
