This reminds me of when I worked at sky. I was listening to mate of mine during training and he was telling a customer something they didn't agree with. The customer started swearing and saying they were going to kick his head in and he just said, completely deadpan 'Sir, I am 6ft3, after work I help train boxers and your address is on my screen.'

The customery just completely changed and was very quiet before hanging up.

Great signing, a couple of good seasons and he will be worth big money..Sunderland are going for youth and its great to see, I still think they need a couple of old heads for experience.

I get what your thoughts are
However
Just think of the season we have just had.
Loads of the team new to this level and performed brilliantly.
DESPITE
Our main goal source out for most of season
Two main CBs out for lengthy spells.
Shortage f adequate cover.

The experience these lads will have taken means we do not need other experienced older lads coming in blocking the path of some real talent we have on our books now.

We are much more well equipped compared to 12 months ago and with the type of signings we are now expecting early doors.
I think we are in the best place we have been for years

The club shop has run out of scarves, so no pics possible , so no signings possible...
