Bowling attack for Ireland Test

Probably Leach as fourth bowler with Root doing a bit. Don't be surprised if YJB fancies a go and throws a paddy, too.

Wonder what the pitch will be? Does Sir Stokes get the flat, lifeless roads he wants?
What's your problem with bairstow

Could very well be. I’ve not kept an eye on Division one so unsure who has started well this summer bowler wise

will Stokes bowl this summer or even be involved in the Ireland test and that would then need a one off captain?

probably Broad or the lad at surrey , whose name has left me, but I call him an ian bell clone
Rushy has!
🤞

I don't get why we've picked Tongue over Woakes.

Woakes has the best average in England of any of our players
They know what Woakes can do though.

Think they are having a look at Tongue to see if he can cover Wood for a test or more in the Ashes.

Think Mahmood is a little unlucky to be out of the picture atm.

Sir Stokes having a knackered knee is really gonna fuck us up bowling wise. Attack looks a bowler short
Still, at least he managed to get his IPL payday, rather than rest or have it seen to

You absolutely hate Ben stokes like

Remarkable after all he has done for English cricket and you just abuse him because he dropped a player who can’t even get in your white ball side

And hates one of our best white ball players ever he's supporting Ireland for this then switching back to England afterwards
