CC : Gloucestershire v Durham

Glamorgan and Sussex bith got to visit the Riverside which is good and also we still have to play Leicestershire twice.

I reckon the bookies will have Durham odds on to win the divison now. They where 15/8 favs last Wednesday.

We’re 7/4.

Yorkshire still 6/1. Awful price that.

He’ll learn ;)

No, BBC table hasn’t added bonus points. Sussex currently on 71 pending the outcome of their game.

Gloucestershire’s stream has its own comms team. Marty was working his usual BBC gig.

One of the lads who does the stream is also a co-host of the ‘County Cricket Natters’ podcast and to be fair to him, he’s talked Durham up for years.
I listened to about of commentary earlier and someone asked which Durham player has impressed them and the first guy to answer said "all of them" then pretty much went through each one saying what they'd contributed to the win. Really good all round team performance in this game and the season. Not relying on one or two players carrying us which is great to see.

Yeah, I didn’t think they were that bad really. They were exaggerating Gloucestershire’s chances of winning when that 8th wicket stand was going well but then again, they work for GCCC so its clear they’re going to try and do a bit of happy clapping and try to sell the brand a bit.

I felt like they were fairly balanced overall. No complaints from me.

I thought they were good value. Commentate all day with no 20 minutes rotation like TMS

I think £10 per game would be fair and put money in the clubs. I went to most days last year but will struggle to get to any CC games this season. I have tickets for 5 of the T20 games though.

HTL

This is where the FTECB could help the clubs a bit more and provide funds for more cameras

The likes of Surrey have more but Gloucester etc would need a bit of help

Maybe about a million quid would do to get cameras at the smaller counties

Cut a firework display or ten out of the 16.4 maybe

Aye I liked the commentators, surprised by the comments on here, they were completely fair and praised Durham constantly
It's the intent that I like. And the ambition to do as well as we possibly can. I have been known to criticise North quite a lot in recent years, but he's backing Campbell to the hilt and I appreciate that

39 point gap between us and third place

We should have won all 6, that is no exaggeration
I am surprised they do it free of charge.

Same yeah, can watch all the games home and away, I am suprised more people dont watch
