Criticising Luton long ball

When we played you in league 1 the entire upper tier was closed. And yet obviously it was full on Saturday. The same for pretty much every club.

I’m sure a lot of our fans made decent money of you in ‘07 and why wouldn’t they have done so.

That’s a nonsense. You’d be waxing lyrical about work rate and pressing if that was your performance.
You're the one claiming your ground is a bear pit. Sunderland pretty much took over your home end.I was in there. Soft as shite hatters

Not sure I ever said that but clearly it was too much for your players, they looked shellshocked at times.
And Tbh your fans saying the ground isn’t safe and netting should be put up to protect players would seem to suggest they think the same way.
I can’t help but notice St James’ Park never saw anything like the huge drop offs in attendances when they got relegated.

Hahah are you 5 years old? Our strengths were better than your strengths. You were outplayed, outfought and the score could have been 5-0.

Good luck next season anyway
Are you still going on? You've made your point, now you're getting boring.
On top of that you call someone 5 years old? A grown man I take it, spending his day/evening on another teams message board. Dear me, get a life.

Sorry ‘marra’! I guess we’ll have to hope we don’t see you at the ‘Kenny’ next year. If we do how will 09 fare against our hoofball next season. We shall see

How far are you looking back? Try a little bit further and their attendances most certainly dropped off.

You are bringing someone's argument to me? I've never mentioned hoofball you prick. I'm also not your marra and never will be. As for the name Kenny, that name is laughable, be proud of your history and call it by its full name.
Not the last 2 times at least then. Although they didn’t stick around long
But you never said last 2 times. They used to average around 20,000 man so don't talk shite.

They've never been relegated to the 3rd division. The netting is to protect players from 60 year old bald fatties hitting our players.Where were these tough guys when we took the piss in your end? Am I really arguing with a luton fan about attendances. Yous are a joke

Look at Newcastle attendance pre keegan,

Your slowly coming across as a prick you had some decent debate earlier but now more Condescending,

Your a small club, punching well
Above it’s Weight be proud of that instead of the small club I’m a twat mentality

Every clubs attendance go up and down, your atmosphere was special as it was a special game, it was nothing in the league game just another small ground.

You must have also missed where the mags gave away 10k free season cards in the PL.

Why the fuck are you on here anyway? Just enjoy your win and a play off final.

If we’d got through the two legs and since the other night I’ve not have given Luton a second thought.

Outplayed ? You have to play to outplay someone. We had a winger a centre and a breakthrough full back in defence and you couldnt score in open play. Why ? Because you lack football ability. Sad as fuck. Yet you lap it up and think you’re good. Kick off pass back to keeper thump. Aye outplayed us. Utterly deluded. Your manager even loves Watford. Cast offs.
Punching players in your allotment shed, wanking ‘tommeh’ off, your most accurate passes were from the keepers boot. I almost hope you go up to remind you of ‘we don’t mind losing for the money’. You’d be a laughing stock. Horrible football team, embarrassing club, absolute shit hole of a town.
Best of luck to you too.
Much respect

Genuinely pathetic stuff, this.

They dropped by 10k in the premier league under Bruce - and they dropped to 38k first game the last time they were in the championship
Maybe you need to double check facts

I am a prick yes, but some comments on here were ridiculously bitter. Luckily all Mackems I’ve met are sound
Good luck next year anyway

It’s a theme of supporters of clubs like Luton (just like when we were in league one) trying to cosy up to the Saudi boys to point score over us… sad as fuck!

I think we will meet again next season….

Genuinely up against one of the best strikers in the league, gotta keep him quiet

I can't call it. Luton weren't third for nothing. They have proven over the season that they are a hard team to beat. Good luck to whichever team goes up as I feel they are going to need it.

Is that a whole orchestra of violins..? 😂😂😂

Whee's this cockwomble?

He'll probably be on the subs bench with a fully fit squad, and we're likely to buy at least one CB over the summer. Let's put iy this way - how would your side function with your back three, Doughty, Mpanzu and Morris all injured. Because that's the equivalent of us in both legs.

If all teams played like that then I doubt many people would go to watch it and the TV deals would soon dry up. Just look at football and attendances in the 1980s as an example. We watch football for entertainment after all, don’t we?
Yep. There's been a national effort to move towards positive football for several years, The football we see now is fantastic and the depth of quality always improving, but Luton are like Nah, fuck that, get the big lads on and try to play as little quality football as we can. Utter shite and I hope they win their playoff then get utterly rinsed in the PL.

What the second leg reminded me of was us having to face team after team packed with huge players in league one hoofing the ball up and fouling our keeper at set pieces. Poor refereeing, shithousery, horrible and dirty football to quote their captain.
However, it worked and we didn't get a kick and it could have been 5 nil.
Pen and red card for Morris perhaps but overall, no real complaints.
I wouldn't swap places as I like our team and our style of play and the SoL and the defeat hopefully only delays our return by a year. Beautiful goal after beautiful goal scored and not a penny of blood money involved in putting our team together.
Luton have been trying for 30 years to move from their shithole of a ground, if they go up they will finally have the money to sort it.
Don't care who goes up, totally indifferent, what has gone has gone and focusing on us for next season.
