Criticising Luton long ball

Well you don’t watch us every week. We can mix it up a lot. Obviously when you come up against a young side with obvious weaknesses with only one way of playing, you are of course going to play to that weakness. There’s nothing soporific about a team that presses like we do.

You play nice football but it won’t get you far in this league without better players.

We only have one way of playing, a very nice way for the record because of dreadful luck with injuries. We have our star striker out with a ruptured achilles, our defensive midfielder and captain out with an ACL, a midfielder who scored in last season's play off final out with a broken ankle. 1 centre half (our vice captain) out with a knee injury, the other with a hamstring injury. We also had no left backs until the last half an hour of the play off 2nd leg as they were both injured too. The whole spine of our side has been missing for several weeks.

I dare say if we hadn't suffered horrific injuries this season, we would definitely be automatics.I wouldn't have any of your players in our team. They aren't good enough. Right back is ok, but he is no hume

I’d like to see the reaction on here if the O’nien challenge in the first leg was done by one of our players. Admittedly the Geldhart incident was hard to see, but the reaction would of course be different if that was one of your players.

It’s football. Im quite happy to pay to watch us win games. I think I’d probably be irritated to pay to watch my team repeatedly try and play out from the back and get nowhere. If we are being fair it honestly could’ve been 4/5 goals from us on Tuesday but for heroic defending and wastefulness. I think you’d all be happy to pay to watch your players put in the kind of aggression and determination ours do.
Tim you mention the 09 challenge

But ignore the fact two of your players should have been sent off.

Or that your captain was groping joffy and joffy backed his hand into him.

Your players agression, your players fouls that the ref lets go.

With VAR you won’t be able to play “your game” anywhere starting next Saturday.

Non league hoof ball has got you far well done but just like Wimbledon the dominos will start to fall

I agree winning is more important than entertainment.

Good luck on Saturday, if you go up also good luck as your whole game will need to change.

Is absolutely pathetic. It's accepted by all, yes even Sunderland fans, that your players in comparison to Luton's, are small. Luton had tall forwards and midfielders. Do you REALLY think that should the roles be reversed, you wouldn't utilize the height differential to your benefit?

Luton were only using a very obvious advantage. You hardly created a chance all game and you didn't deserve to go through to the final. You were desperate and got what you deserved. The long ball argument some are trying to criticize is pathetic.
Fuck off you spotty twat

Two sendings off? Morris in the second leg maybe and the other?

That would make us 2-2 on possible sendings off. Good that we have agreed that both sides are as dirty as each other and that it was good football that saw us through.

Good luck next season

2 yellows for Nakamba.

There is 0% chance you’d see the geldhart incident like that if it was the other way around. Christ it’s football and I know fans are naturally blinkered , but come on.

I thought that at first glance but the replay showed it wasn’t a foul as a few of your fans agreed.

I think it's okay to say shit football is shit football tbh
indeed. Your football was really shit at times on Tuesday hence why you created next to nothing. Our players are a match in terms of technical skill with the exception of maybe the £40 million pound Diallo

The second Nakamba one is a yellow card every time, haway man

Good luck in the final.

Cant spell the he lads name began with a N made two yellow card challenges also that clark got away lucky

Also are you saying geldhart should have been sent off for your captain touching him? Your captain made a meal of it and also loved a bit of play acting (premier league will stop that (fortunately )

And then the referee bottled a handball weak EFl Refs didn’t help the game. You don’t chose the refs so can’t blame you for that but he was shit scared and bottled it to home advantage

We are two total different teams. 32 fouls to 18 over two legs. Both sides are not even close to being as dirty as it’s a tactic which has worked for you all season and it’s about winning at the end of the day.

Coventry however are total shithouses and will play you at your own game

So why has Lee Clark set up an account and why does he think we give two fucks what he thinks??

I think you are allowed to say it, I found it frustrating as have so much more ability to them, and although they played OK 2nd leg, they scored 2 goals that would have been prevnted with literally any centre back

Football like that has a shelf life, eventually it goes wrong, I am convinced the way we are going about it style wise is the way, all the modern managers want to play it and all the talented footballers do too.

Nakamba. That’s how I saw it at first glance but replays showed other wise and I saw a few of your fans agreeing.

There was never any clear footage of the Geldhart one. But if Geldhart goes down in the same circumstances the opinion would be different here, but that’s football.

That handball would’ve been interesting with VAR, lino probably had the better view.

I still think that O’nien challenge was the dirtiest over the 2 legs but he’s got the Wycombe in him still.

Don’t waste your keyboard efforts. Everyone just has to accept that only Sunderland deserve things more than any other team ever.

I honestly can’t say about o’nien one as I’ve never seen it on the tele or replays If you have a link feel free to post it up.

The hand ball wasn’t even up for discussion mate it was as clear as day I think the linos arse went in all honestly.
