I would assume if you get banned from playing (aside from yellow and red cards) then you are not going to get paid your wages?
 
This might sound stupid, but it says “all football related activities” does that mean he won’t get paid, as he’s being paid by a football club?
I’d imagine there’s a clause in his contract that he has to follow certain rules. He will likely go unpaid, or get a club level fine
 
Off topic but didn’t David Haye admit to a dodgy bit of gambling on his fight against Harrison.

He said he got his friends and family to back a 3rd round knock out then didn’t throw a punch for the first 2 rounds

Once saw one of our Irish players in Billy Hill's on sea road. Was writing my bet out and heard the manageress say check all them notes cos if any are dodgy its coming out of your wages. 25k takes some counting. 🤷‍♂️

Not really though is it. A player could have themselves down as not to score and fluff a chance on purpose, costing the game, the team, the Club and the fans in the process. There's a reason why it's so strict.
