Forthcoming gigs.


Marrapalooza on Saturday. Seeing Pit Pony and will have a dodge in other venues.
Blur at city hall. Unknown Mortal Orchestra at boilershop in June and a few others that mates have booked. Plenty more this year.

Fantastic weekend wasn't it!?

Martha were in blistering form on Friday and I really enjoyed the 1st band, Mt. Misery, reminiscent of the Fannies at times.

Yesterday was a great mix of old favourites and unseen bands, not a duffer between them. I missed Trust Fund when I nipped out to get a pint during the soundcheck and the room (Cumberland) hit capacity before I got back! White Legs (Marty Longstaff on bass!), Feeble Strength, Withered Hand, Slug, Pit Pony and Wave Pictures more than compensated. Plus sunshine and a lot of Hickey The Rake!

It was far better than I was expecting. Hopefully it is first year of many more Marrapaloozas.
