Boro thread

I would hazard a guess ( that out of 40000. Safc fans and 25000 Boro ) they have a lot more on our forum than we do on theirs -just a guess mind !🤣?

Who's the weapon, before you start making statements about our history you might like to check it. We have more top flight seasons than lower league ones. If you would like to amend your statement to a lower top flight higher second tier team, i think you would be about right.
Ok.

Your history proves that for just over 50% of your history, you were a lower top flight club, and subsequently an ordinary lower flight club, that has achieved fuck all apart from winning the third highest rated trophy in this country once, never having troubled the scorers for the rest of your existance.

Happy now?

Saw earlier on . Coventrys last 12 games away at Middlesbrough Won 0
Drawn 3 Lost 9

Seen stats like that turned over though.
The Mags havnt beaten us for 7 games ( I think ! )

Our history proves that given our league performances we were f***ing abysmal in cups prior to 1997. Nearly every other club with similar historic league performances picked up an FA Cup or 2 - and a league title for that matter. Boro were properly rubbish in them before Gibson.

In terms of winning a title, we had a few teams who could of, but we didn't - 3rd and 4th place finishes. Probably our best chance was spoiled by Hitler invading Poland. Mannion and Hardwick robbed of their best years.

What I'm grateful for is I have seen my club lift a trophy and play in Europe in my lifetime, given how difficult it is these days it is something that shouldn't be under estimated. Especially considering the amount of 'big' clubs who have done nothing for decades and decades.

We really should be starting to play up the Boro rivalry a bit since the other one is dead now

To be fair, finishing in the top four twice basically is the same as winning a league title.

We have about 20 league titles based on that
