So still a fair while left then, I suppose if he tells Birmingham he's agreed to join us at the end of his contact and will walk away for free if they don't sell him this summer, they might sell him at a reasonable price. But on the other hand, they might risk it and hope a PL club (or big foreign club) comes in either the summer or January.
It's the type of signing that shows we mean business, while still fitting with the model. I'd be delighted if it happens tbf.

What are you classing as a breakthrough season? From the Brum fans comments he didn’t impress much and was mostly on the bench I think.
