CC : Durham v Derbyshire

and yet it took about 10 mins to move the sightscreen a couple of feet to keep Luis Reece happy, even though he'd been batting for two days with it in the original position. Sometimes cricket makes no sense
Not sure what I thought about Matt Parkinson. I saw very little that would make me want to extend his loan. Also bowled 2 no balls, which perhaps suggests he is just out of practice, so maybe he would improve and I'm being a little harsh.

His brother seems to have fallen out with Leicester big style. Wouldn't sign a contract extension, got stripped of the captaincy and is now out of the team. Is he worth looking at?
there's a thread for Parkinson... sorry

I couldn't work out how to edit my post
still can't

I'm making a right @rse of this
Don’t worry just start any thread you want about anything

Easy going in here most of the time

Just going back to yesterday's play and something to maybe illustrate the new spirit under the new coach.

When the players came back out after lunch and a wicketless morning you could imagine some heads may have gone down if it had happened last season, but instead they went into a huddle on the boundary and after Badger had finished they came roaring and charging towards the middle like some US Football team going for 4th and 1 with five seconds on the clock.

May have just been for effect but one hour later they had cleaned up the remaining five wickets.

Also a lot more vocal in the field and...a lot more happier.

Ten 300lb men lined up , where one team has to move a ball a yard for a winning score and they’ve failed three times but they have one last chance to win the game
