Well, it doesn't get paid by 'normal trading flows' as you suggested because they don't exist.

Guaranteed future income as a result of extending the ground is nowhere near a good case either.

There is no evidence that the demand is there. If SAFC had a full house most matches and another 10,000 or whatever were trying to buy tickets, then that would be good grounds. These are businessmen and they'll look at the cost of maintenance, catering staff, upkeep of the extended section of the ground, policing costs and so on and offset that with future demand.

It makes absolutely no sense for them to extend the ground, with all of the cost that entails, when as it stands there is no prospect of that money being recovered in ticket sales.
It's bad enough now when the stadiums not full, looks shite. Not the demand there at all to extend I can't believe people are suggesting to this at the present time. Maybe if we're successful for years in a row.

Fair fucks. What's the record gate for regular home fixture in the Championship?

Be proactive, its not just for football season, need an income from ground all year round
Mate I love Sunderland and I love our fans. However there's simply not the demand and imagine playing in a stadium where the 20000 empty seats most matches...no not for me. Me and all my mates been going home and away for about 45 years none of us want this.

Are we allowed to move the segregation closer to the Watford fans and sell more tickets? Or does it require consultation with police etc?
