Tbf it's rarely full .
We would need to be top half of Premier a few years before we consider expanding.
We are in a great position right now as everyone who wants a ticket can get one .
Hopefully a lot of youngens will choose Sunderland in 50/50 areas as they really have no chance of getting a scum ticket
I don’t disagree on your points but it’s been rarely full due to pits of despair. Would be the same for any top team in the county.

Agreed.
I was confident before a ball was kicked this season, that we wouldn't be relegated, and I'd have been more than happy with a mid table finish.
The fantastic, free flowing attacking football The Lads have played, the great goals they've scored, and the team spirit & togetherness of the squad and the manager, has completely blown me away.
We can only get better and with one or two quality additions to the squad, we'll take some stopping next season, . . . whichever division we'll be playing in.
You're spot on. The squad is now a team, a young hungry team (amazing) who want to play. And they're playing nice football. It's good to watch. And it will get better.

Given that away fans are not given the first whatever rows and sensible segregation, how many seats are left to make it a proper sell out?

4k?

I'd say 3,500. Depends if they sell those loose tickets in lower bowl. If its a sell out I think the attendance will be around 46,500-47,000
Does anyone know the attendances for the Stoke game (last game in 2005) and the Burnley game in 2007 (Carlos cracker) Was an both and remember those games being basically sold out in the championship. Could beat those attendances

Stoke 47350

Yeah. Burnley brought around 300 fans up (like a block) so good turnout as well. That was before burnley got good numbers away. Just checked the stoke game was 47,300. Was packed that day.
I think remember them having a block at the front of the south stand?? sunderland behind and to the sides.
