CC :: Glamorgan v Durham

Inspection after Tea with Marty tweeting that the rain has stopped.

Been frustrating to lose two sessions after the day we had yesterday, but if we do get on tonight I think we should declare before the resumption.
Yes, declaration now , is the right way forward

Get to 400 first and get the batting point, then declare

Edit - No play today, decide whether to declare tomorrow morning when Badger opens the curtains in his hotel.
Sadly it appears that it's Campbell that makes those decisions. Forecast tomorrow is much like today's so draw appears inevitable. Bat on for maximum bonus points seems the logical thing but Campbell won't think that way.

Just checked Met Office site for Sophia Gardens and rain isn’t forecast until 6pm tomorrow. Appreciate it can change. We might be lucky.

What makes you assume that the captain has no say or that they won't agree on when to declare?

Changed my opinion on this overnight, keep batting I say, try and get up to 450 and then declare at 110 overs. It’s unlikely we can take 20 wickets from here, so maximise the batting points and by scoring 450 it would atleast mean Glamorgan need 301 to avoid the follow on if we were able to take early wickets and apply some pressure.
