Gary Numan last night. He was ok but I wasn’t really feeling it.

I just don't get acoustic for Gary Numan as his songs are all built up synths hardly any guitars ,Same with the Skids acoustic as well( big fan of the band ) but their songs are all riff laden distorted songs so i gave it a miss,
It's like having a Sham 69 unplugged ...just doesn't work.

After the acoustic show at the Peacock last summer Jobson and Bruce and Jamie Watson were downstairs after the gig..we got a few photos and had a bit crack with them..i asked Jobson about ‘Into the Valley’ because I’ve heard or read it’s about different things..he confirmed it’s about mates of his who joined the army and served and a couple of them killed in Northern Ireland..had a good bit crack with Bruce about Dunfermline where they’re from because i used to work there years ago.

Just randomly heard a band called Gogol Bordello on radio, dug into there stuff and loving it. Rock with a bit of fiddle and accordian. Dublin gig coming up in May.

The Selector were on fine form on Friday night. Missed most of ZenBaseballBat (?) who sounded pleasing too.
