The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Why should I move from the south stand….
This is in repose to a long standing poster desperate for them to be moved back to the now infeasible south stand
Where the away fans are out are not my problem but I will fight for my right for it not to be at my inconvenience again after being shifted from the north due to the bcb.

And as for an equivalent seat Mr Blair, There was no seating in the Fulwell or a Roker end ……

How is it unfeasible when the cells and segregation are all in place in the south stand?

I’m sat in the North Stand and throwing stuff down is getting out of hand. Why the hell should I move seats. That’s a bloody ridiculous comment Regardless of what the club say netting would have stopped that smoke bomb today

It is, and my response again was based on the poster constantly banging his drum and gums to get them back to the south.
You shouldn’t have to move.
Just because it’s not working doesn’t mean they should be moved.

Back to wherever they were before we were kicked out of the NSU to allow the away fans in
Come on mate. There are many youngsters that sit there that won't have had a previous seat. And those that did will more than likely find their seats have been taken. Many moved from west stand swc and that is largely full to season ticket holders now..

Where we were sat in the North stand and that pyro was close to hitting a disabled fan and their mum. We felt so bad for them. This has to stop now and the club need to be doing more for the fans safety. After numerous instances now and the club doing nothing to protect fans, I can see a big compo claim coming through the clubs letter box sooner rather than later if this carry on. I just hope the lady and her child were ok and not put off from coming back.

Reduce all away allocations to 1k. The day trip element support of some of these clubs clearly doesn’t give a fuck as they have nothing to lose by being banned.

A Hull fan launched a smoke bomb from up a height.

So very next game …. Another smoke bomb and it happened again.

The away fans response to a stadium announcement requesting that objects not be thrown?

A Chorus of “We’ll throw what we want, we’ll throw what we want, we are Birmingham City, we’ll throw what we want”.

Seems like the search policy is not working?

To be tedious and repetitive I made this point in the earlier post in this thread after the Hull match:

“Under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 SAFC could be liable for prosecution and unlimited fines if a fan is killed as a result of serious management failures resulting in a gross breach of a duty of care.

This could be particularly relevant if SAFC were aware of a systematic safety failure at the ground and then failed to take effective action.

I seriously wonder who is advising the SAFC Board on this issue at the moment.”

As poster above have said most of the NS ducked off when in league 1 now getting all
Mighty about wanting a say…..
A lot of jonny come latelys.
As for cells etc it no longer matters, the club won’t be moving 5-8,000 season tickets holders for those wanting away fans to be there.

Can't wait for another list of the things the home fans have done wrong when this gets raised with the club.

Aggressive chanting and intimidating flags in the home end compelling away fans to hoy burning objects below, no doubt.

The south stand can barely breathe without being harassed yet you’ve literally got fire raining down on the north stand

The club are far too soft on the matter. If someone chucks something, they need to be f***ing hammered. Humiliate the c unts in the press ffs.

As far as I know, NO ONE was prosecuted for chucking a glass f***ing bottle earlier in the season

Surely there must be CCTV on the ***** now and they can just watch it back?

Hasn’t been for all the others but it appears to be controlled by that third party security company that isn’t fit for purpose.
No one's going to die from being farted in the face ffs.

I thought there'd always been CCTV.

Who's looking after security in the ground?

Alpha security
