I reckon

Safc 3-1 Birmingham
Watford 2-2 Bristol City
Millwall 2-1 Preston
QPR 0-1 Coventry
Stoke 1-1 WBA
Blackburn 2-1 Hull

We move upto 9th but still remain 4 points off play offs. Watfords draw will rule them out of the play off battle and perhaps WBA too. 8 horse race becomes a 6 horse race for 2 spots.
West Brom have a game in hand.

Boro continue to exceed expectations, fair play to them.

Unlike us. I think going in to the season we were never expected to win many or be favourites to win many (you never are if you are a team who has been a League One team for 4 years). Which is why when we have lost it has come as no surprise. So you could say we could only benefit this season. It was a win-win situation. For much of the season we felt all of the good (wins) and none of the bad (defeats).

But I would like us to kick on and be good enough to win more games than we did this season. I would love us to worry supporters who have us in their next game. I want us to make them think we are a credible threat to them. I would like us to be a properly good, effective, efficient team. A team very good at all aspects of the game.

'all aspects'?They are poor defensively and give lots of chances to the opposition but the attacking side of their game is excellent and I rate Akpom as being a class above most forwards in the Championship beside his goals his all round game is tremendous.

Teesside 400,000:eek:ne football team...very average attendances.

I believe the population of County Durham is over half a million. This doesn't include the population of Sunderland itself, or places like Jarrow and South Shields. In other words areas that are Sunderland strongholds, but part of Tyne and Wear. I'm not even including Stockton and Billingham. Areas which some Sunderland fans have somewhat bizarrely convinced themselves are crawling with deckchairs. I, like most Boro fans, am very comfortable with our attendances. I just wish we'd charge Sunderland prices.

Pretty much agree with most of those except I think Hull will win or at least draw at Blackburn (which will be great for us) 😎

We didn't at there place like I'm talking about boro
We did mind
We were terrible in the first half away to Boro, we couldn't string two passes together. We played very well at the SOL though.
And battered them second half
No we haven't.
Boro and Norwich away we played without a striker and were comfortably the best team in both. Norwich at home we played them off the pitch and were very unlucky to lose, and Boro at home we stuffed them

Ellis Simms played at Boro so you are wrong

When Boro win they have the ability to win big. The issue is they're capable of a stinker and coming up with a SoL, West brom or Huddesfield performance in the playoffs means they don't go up.

The loan players they added in Jan have been brilliant.

We may or may not go up, but we're so much more exciting to watch than either of these
Yeah, Boro have only scored the 21 more goals than us but we are a better watch.
Given their catchment area, their support is dog shite.
Aye. We get loads more and have a smaller catchment area. Proper support.

If only we has as many points!
Both of these are really shit tbh. We shouldn't be behind either of these teams
Hang on. We are 13 points behind Boro, but they are shit and we aren’t shit and should be above them?

Some of our fans are an embarrassment. Can’t you think objectively?

Why do you keep saying ‘we? Everyone knows you’re not a SAFC supporter.

I Still think if Stewart never got injured tomorrow would be a sell out and automatic promotion would be in with a good chance.
You think Stewart would have got us an extra 18 points or so?

Play the ball, not the man. Which points do you disagree with?
