CC :: Sussex v Durham

And Bushnell and Killeen. The two Dutchies need to step up, but they are frontline bowlers and weren't signed to play 2nds.

Matt Salisbury is an honest pro but has hardly played the last couple of years, he's not a massive loss.

How many 'proven' 1st class seamers do you want us to carry then? Always has to be room for the ones coming through, you can't just bloat the squad out with plodders.
Hussey said you needed 8 and who am I to contradict him? The 2 Dutch lads are unproven in red ball cricket. Glover's record at Northants was moderate, DeLease has hardly ever played red ball cricket. McAlinden and Killeen are promising but not ready- their next step up is in the 1 day cup.

We've got a pool of 10, an excellent front line with youngsters and full internationals competing for places. Might or might not be good enough over the season, but not really sure what else people expect.

Hussey definitely did say that, mind we did have ,from memory, Davies, Harmi,, ,Bunny, Killa, Noffke, Pudsey,with youngsters Rushy and Turner. We need more than 4 of proven ability, that's what I expect.
Let's hope it's overcast tomorrow morning and that Potts regains his radar.

What a terrible day. Those you'd hope would do a job didn't.
Lees, Jones, Beddingham and Potts.
Bushnell not had a great game either but he gets a bit of slack because of youth, same for McKinney.

59 run versus 5 wickets. It's possible but Potts has got to have a magic spell, and he needs a bit of help by the morning conditions.

I’m going out for some food but I shall be checking on the result, more in hope than expectation.

You never know. Get a couple of quick wickets and get at the tail and they may crumble.
