Doubt its true but i read he is the 3rd best paid manager in the world or europe i cant remember but on 12 million a year so to sack him on a 6 year deal well you lot do the math...disgusting money tbh but there you go.

Industry standard payoff is now one years wages. Superstar coaches can wangle a better deal but I doubt Potter is on much more.

A few clubs have developed a rep that means managerial failure isn’t considered a blot on a managers rep. Spurs, Chelsea, Watford, Sunderland etc.
At Brighton it seems that it’s the system that brings success not the man picking the team.

Where would he end up then? Liverpool? Palace?
Name a better club for him after Chelsea than us that is more appealing.
-We don't spend much these days
-We are in an unappealing part of the country to those who aren't from here
-We're not as good as you think we are

Just woke up burst out laughing, remembering this thread
Couldn't afford his wages for a start but I'd have him.here Chelsea job too big for him
I’d have pep as well Hank.
The reason I asked the question, is that he was very successful operating under a very similar model at Brighton, and will soon be shown the door at Chelsea.
And you think he’d drop down to the championship and earn in a year what he earns in two weeks?
