My ticket came yesterday so can enjoy my day in Sunderland without having to get to the ground early to collect it. Can enjoy a relaxing afternoon now doing typical football away day activities like having a stroll along the pier and the seafront

How about a Sunderland AFC debit card available with a membership number that people can top up from their bank account, then just turn up on match day and swipe through on a turnstyle as it deducts from your balance. Sum Up style... or am I missing something ?
great idea. It would need a printer/display or some way of communicating your seat number at the point of sale. Email would be good, but then you’re back to square one re technology get tin the way.

Really looking forward to it. Don't know Sunderland at all. I love the NE but always head straight for the Northumberland coast, or if I'm up for the cricket, stop in Durham.

Why not just buy a ticket on your phone or computer? If you have a SAFC debit card you’d need one of them to top it up anyway.
