Bring it on!So about 41.5k.
Most of that time we were garbage and eventually relegated.
If we were half decent (like under Reidy) we'd get higher.
Certain games (mags, Liverpool, United, etc,etc...) would be sold out.
We’ve averaged more in league one after 4 years there than we did in that championship under short. It’s all about momentum.Seems the reasonable number

Build it and they will come. Ha'way.
Why would they possibly consider doing that ?If anything, I’d reduce the capacity and improve what we have, stadium is looking old.
We had enough trouble with the pitch without letting rugby games on itThey’re looking into other avenues such as Rugby games, so if they can get big capacity stuff then why not.
Well first of we dont need a 49,000 seater stadium, and secondly the stadium needs investment as it’s looking run downWhy would they possibly consider doing that ?
What crowds do you think a mid table championship club should get? It’s already there, and they don’t.
If he’s anything like my kid, he’d not do it exactly because his dad did it at MarseilleWatched from a distance on this, and my 1st reaction was it's bollocks , and I wouldn't want it. Reading that it could be paid for grants for the Euros and we wouldn't have to pay anything (I'm not saying this is true) is interesting as if you were KLD and you had a chance of a 20 million grant to extend your ground for nowt, while trying to benefit from it, then may it might make sense to him. That is 20 million pounds free investment if true. To read his Dad did the same at Marseille would suggest he would defo think about it.
On a personal level I don't think it would be great, as no one wants a half empty stadium. I'm unsure now though as if someone offered a free extension to your house, you'd probably take it. I don't think the pitch carnage would help mind, and I'd like to think we could do something to help that, but we haven't got a ground like Spurs with different pitches available. I don't think it will happen but there has been a few posts that have made me think there could be something behind it. If it happens isa a totally different thing mind
So we are going to reduce our potential revenue stream and invest in the stadiumWell first of we dont need a 49,000 seater stadium, and secondly the stadium needs investment as it’s looking run down
What size do you think we need?Well first of we dont need a 49,000 seater stadium, and secondly the stadium needs investment as it’s looking run down
Size isnt everythingWhat size do you think we need?
I agree to an extent but if you owned it, and someone said they would pay 20 million to put an extension on it, would you do it?(I'm using grant figures on here, Doesn't mean they are true) It would be a no brainer in that aspect. I only live with Mrs Sauce now the kids have flown so we don't need a 3 bed house in reality. If someone offered to pay to make it a 5 bed for no investment from me, I'd be stupid not to look into it.Well first of we dont need a 49,000 seater stadium, and secondly the stadium needs investment as it’s looking run down
If it’s funded almost entirely then it’d be pretty stupid to not investigate it, empty seats or notI agree to an extent but if you owned it, and someone said they would pay 20 million to put an extension on it, would you do it?(I'm using grant figures on here, Doesn't mean they are true) It would be a no brainer in that aspect. I don't think it will happen, but it's got me thinking that IF some of the funding is true , it wouldn't be looked at .It would have to be.
That's my thinking , IF true. My 1st reaction was what a load of shit. Don't want it, but if it's funded then I could defo see why they'd look at it.If it’s funded almost entirely then it’d be pretty stupid to not investigate it, empty seats or not
