Investment in the stadium

It’d be nice just to be able to get a pint at half time. Queues in North and North west corner are absolutely ridiculous. People literally walking away from handing over dosh because the queue is too big.

Could be a combined fanzone / sports / gaming bar & restaurant to go alongside the gaming centre and residential development at sheepfolds.

SAFC themed and owned

The gaming centre is an educational thing. It's about teaching the next generation of coders, graphics designers, etc. It's more like a small college than anything else. It won't be a public facility.

Do they not eat and drink or socialise then?

As well as training would-be pros, the National Esports Performance Campus will host “regular esports events, community tournaments and summer camps,” and provide a training location for the Great Britain esports team.

On the pitch has to be the first priority for me. Get that right then look at the facilities.
Although I agree the priority is getting it right on the pitch. On the other hand, the fans have the right to expect the stadium to be kept in good nick and any reasonable upgrades to improve match day experience.

They say Newcastle is a better city I always believed that but went few weekends ago and was dirty as fuck. I think when we finish the vaux area it be a better place to be.

I'm suggesting it won't be a matchday venue, and may not even be open.

Strong word, particularly so when it isn't "an excuse", simply my personal opinion.

It's an excuse peddled by people who don't realise that sunderland afc is in the entertainment business. Would you go to a cinema where the bogs were overflowing? No. Why should football fans put up with it?

If you go back over the Supporters Collective Minutes, a fair few of these suggestions, especially the refresh of the concourses have been being looked at by SD for quite a long time

If we get Euro 28’ games, then I suspect the club will invest significantly in the SOL. The concourses will be done, as will all of the West Stand.

If we don’t, then I really can’t see us spending anything unless it’s essential.

Sunderland won't get any Euro 2028 games and can't see Newcastle getting any either

If it was just England hosting then we probably would have but with it being a UK/Irish bid with just 10 stadiums then think this region will miss out
