Forthcoming gigs.

Went to see Paul Draper last night, can't work out if he's got a planet sized ego or absolutely no self confidence at all. Nailed Six though.

Ben Ottewell and Ian Ball tonight, hell of a contrast to last night. Two guys who've been mates for 30 years loving that they get to make a living playing music in front of a crowd.

Booked up for Primavera, not a load of bands I've heard of but Blur and the Pet Shop Boys headlining in the beautiful city of Porto, what can go wrong?

Richard Dawson has been shifted to Whitley Bay Playhouse due to The Exchange closure mid-April. Ticket holders are being contacted individually. It was sold out but as the Playhouse is a bigger venue there'll be extra tickets available.

Thanks for that.

A good solid 8/10. A longer encore would have pushed it towards a 9. Desperate Journalist were very intriguing too.
Agree, a decent mix of material (I really rate their latest album so not disappointed to hear several few tracks off it) and Brett did a good job up front. I can't help wishing the crowd got a bit more involved (and I think Brett did too)... I enjoy a bit of jumping around at gigs and it was a bit subdued in that sense, except for Beautiful Ones where a few people let their hair down and had a bit of fun. Why leave it to the finale though?
