Picked a very attacking team and we got humped. Needs get more bodies in midfield. Don't think we can play Clarke, Roberts, Amad and Gelhard in same team. Need to bench Gelhard and go 4321 IMO.

The striker imo isn't the biggest problem; the lack of any CDM is by far the biggest problem. We get bullied in midfield every game without Evans and have done all season and haven't done anything about it. Doesn't help there's absolutely no experience there either (probably why Prichard started there).

We need a Cattermole type player urgently and Neil, Michut, Prichard, O'Nien and Matete (who people want back) isn't that.

Michut and Neil was doing fine all he had to do was stick geldahrtd in for Stewart the last few games he’s got people all over the shop Prichard shouldn’t even be in the team atm

We can't fix it for this season, so start planning for the next one. Drop the loanees - they won't be here. Start building up the experience of our own players. Be more defensive for a while to steady the ship.

Or is it a case of we aren't going up or down let's see what they're capable of..it doesn't seem to work currently and TM takes responsibility for this run. Today was unacceptable against a side well below us.
 
Mowbray should be looking around the dressing room, for a bunch of young lads there should no nervousnous only excitement at playing in front of 40k plus crowds. As mentioned there must be a striker who we could use. I would be getting a load of free agents on trial and see if we can unearth a gem, you never know.

Obviously don't watch games, games are won from the midfield. The ball was never anywhere near their box half the game that's nothing to do with a striker unless you want to play lump ball which is dinosaur tactics.

Neil and Prichard lost the game today.

What about so far this season? What has neal done this season other than today? Stop being so stubborn trying to blame the bloke , granted he'll have made mistakes today, but like I said earlier name me 1 just 1 team who haven't got a striker in their squad in UK or even Europe?

Playing a strong, competitive pair of central midfielders would be a start as well. Agree in general with your post, we need to be a bit more boring imo.
 
We have been absolutely mullered in midfield in the the past 3 games. Light weight, poor in possession, can't pass & constantly losing the ball. Everytime we go long it comes straight back because we've got no one to hold the ball up.

We've only one option, complete shithousery
