United, Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham, Arsenal have what 2 seasons outside the top flight between them in the last 60 years ? I guess we will never know with them. I would agree though that their support would hold up, but only for a time.
We are now 50 years since an honour, nearly 70 years since a top 4 finish .we would have to see how some of them did in similar circumstaces ?

West Ham/Chelsea v Fleetwood for the 4th season down in the depths of the 3rd division is not going to have the tourists braying the doors down to get in.

You have to consider that we are a club that has had 2 moderatley decent league campaigns since 1955. 4 generations with nothing really to go on.

I dont want the thread to be derailed as it was prior to the Boro match, so I will leave it at that.

Seb but 3rd biggest crowd in country and we produce that garbage -as happy as I’ve been some Sat nights this season -this is a real flatliner
Needs some serious talks and Speakman should be doing press conferences for next week and outlining club’s intention
Season ticket early birds due soon and that’s a massive worry the way we are heading

The only good think about our club at the moment is the support.

43,000 for mid table championship fixture and then turned over so easily…the owners and senior employees need to have a look at themselves. They don’t deserve this support.
