Attendance Thread - Stoke City

Absolutely fantastic support.
People queried if we would fill 49k again.

Think this says it all.

We would easy.
Every single one of those teams have had far better years/decades than we have as well, even the mags as much as we like to downplay it, have challenged for titles and had successive European campaigns. They’ve all been premier league mainstays and been in Europe, so there isn’t a comparison. Even Leeds who we sometimes get compared with because only them in recent times have ‘suffered’ as much as we have, have won a league title as recent as the 90s, challenged for things and been in Europe in the 2000s. I don’t think there’s a fanbase in England that’s been tested like ours have.
Tremendous post.

Spot on.

Aye Fortunately owld Bob had the foresight to have the founds put in when the stadium was built so all the under ground work is sorted Unfortunately we will need to have sustained success for a few years for any extension to be Green lighted
Or be chosen as a venue for Euro 28, which might also bring some kind of grant to help finance it.

Good post. Mind, some fan bases have had it worse than us, some of them a lot worse, but none with our size of fanbase.

Great post. Our support given the last 75 years is second to none.

Though the 200,000 that stormed Trafalgar Square last weekend may disagree.
