O negative. They loved me at the blood donors but I'm not allowed to go now
I didn't know my blood group until in my 50's when I had a blood test. I'm AB, no big deal, but I just read the chances of parents both with type O of having a child that is AB is highly unlikely, but I have no idea if highly unlikely is millions to one or whatever. I'm sure there are a few on here that could add there pennyworth.
Surely one of your parents must be AB , or one and A and the other a BI didn't know my blood group until in my 50's when I had a blood test. I’m only 43 years old so hopefully plenty more pints and a 100 hall of fame for me.O+ - the most common group - 75 Pints and just got my Platinum certificate and badge - started years ago when they used to come to place of work and just kept going. Think you have to pack in at 70 so might just reach 80. Last donation went to the Wirral according to text you now get!
No clue want parents were
Nice one GE - 100th donation and you get Ceremony invitation, ruby donor card, commemorative medal, badge and certificate - as well as knowing you’ve potentially saved many livesI’m only 43 years old so hopefully plenty more pints and a 100 hall of fame for me.

Are you me? I'm O+ and I'm going for my 40th donation next week.O+
Donated nearly 40 times. Attempted plasma last year but they reckoned my veins were too narrow and wouldn’t take the pressure. Nee good when I’m older and my cholesterol rises!
I got asked years ago to donate platelets but the amount of time they need, frequency of donation and location didn’t work for me.Are you me? I'm O+ and I'm going for my 40th donation next week.
I asked about platelets and they told me that they don't usually take platelets from O+ donors, as they need our whole blood sample more (and you can't donate both).
I did before but I’ve switched to platelets. In truth it’s a bit of a hassle getting there, time to donate and frequency but I like to do it.A positive. My blood donations are used for babies as I'm CMV-negative.
