Steve Smith "Winning in India bigger than Away Ashes Win"

Julio_Schwarz

As titled, Steve Smith has come out with this. Is this Trash Talking or does he have a point? To me, i think its a load of rubbish but that may be my English bias. Thoughts?

I can kind of see it. Australia may not have won here since 2001, but they've retained the Urn here last time, and had plenty of success. Australia victories in India aren't that common, and even we view it as the "final frontier", we just put more emphasis on the Ashes over there because we never win there.

For teams like us, NZ, Aus, SA, India is so far away from what we're used to that it becomes arguably the biggest challenge.

Take the emotion out of it, and our win in India under Strauss was far more impressive than the 3-1 Down Under

When he says bigger does he really mean harder? India usually have a great team.
It’s certainly harder if they prepare the type of pitches they did against us last time. It’s a greater achievement I suppose because of that but certainly not ‘better’

Just licking India’s arses with that statement. Do not believe for one second that’s how he really feels
No this is how they really feel. Possibly with some a justification if its true . I mean hell fire thats just not cricket ...is it ?

That pitch looks hilarious . Lots of Indians saying the Aussies are just moaning and the pitch is perfectly fine. We shall see how it plays but it looks pretty suspicious!

They cry whenever theres a bit of cloud cover and they get skittled over here, then produce doctored wickets like that  fuck the Indians man, when it comes to cricket they're a bunch of absolute c*nts
